JIAO

JIAO restaurant is located in the Loop in downtown Chicago. We are the first Chinese fast food restaurant specializing in soup dumplings in the United States. We aim to redefine Chinese soup dumplings by providing exceptional taste, efficient service, an elegant and cozy environment, and a unique dining experience.

The Dumplings

The recipe is inspired by our sister restaurant, Qing Xiang Yuan Dumplings in Chinatown, which is one of the most famous dumpling restaurants in Chicago. JIAO will serve two types of dumplings: steamed and pan-fried. Guests can pick from seven different options including pork, chicken, beef, lamb, vegetables, seafood, and seasonal specials.

Innovative

JIAO will be using an innovative and proprietary way to steam dumplings by using a square, portable, and multiple-use tray instead of a traditional bamboo steamer.

On the other hand, the cute dumpling figure created by our team celebrates the youthful and innovative spirit of JIAO.

Intelligent

During your busy weekdays, you can easily place order in advance by using JIAO App to save precious time. JIAO App will be launched in August 2019.

Styled

By combining Chinese traditional landscape elements with modern design, JIAO is creating a tranquil environment in the heart of the Loop where customers can momentarily escape the hustle and bustle of city.
